Abstract

The diversity of ways of using technology for educational purposes opens up many possibilities for significant learning. Nevertheless, advances in the identification and analysis of ways of using ICT in the educational setting have been scarcely explored. The goal of this research paper is to analyze the approaches in the educational use of ICT in higher education by conducting a systematic review of relevant literature (SRL). The analysis produced eleven studies focused primarily on the use of ICT in education. The analytical processing of each study was carried out using the MAXQDA software. The results suggested the approach of a typology, based on three dimensions: integration, function and utilization of ICT in the educational setting.
