Abstract

Sonorous Phytography for Ciudad Okinawa is an intimate monument to the victims of the battle occurred in 1945 and to the communities that inhabit Santa Cruz in Bolivia. In this article I address how the artwork relates to its geographical context, its production process and its link with the landscape. I also address the relation of Sonorous Phytography to my previous and current work. I specifically focus on 45 Letters to Magnussons before the spring, The Letter, Cherished and Chontalli: Expanded Studio for Collaboraton.
