México en su Centro: delimitaciones espaciales de un entorno urbano en permanente expansión y su impacto en la salud planetaria

Discussing Mexico as a singular unit may seem straightforward due to the cultural strength and official support behind this image. However, the performative practices of society appear to suggest alternative perspectives. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the diversities that shape the country by revealing the varying responses from region to region. In this text, we will configure the Central region of Mexico through a dual phenomenological approach: on one hand, the identification of urban territoriality and its identities, and on the other, the urban fabric of health and its accessibility. This aims to identify urban development needs that enhance the operability of public health services, primarily, and thereby contribute to social well-being considering sustainability and the concept of planetary health
