Abstract
The CPEUM has undergone many formal changes, as a result of
multiple constitutional reform processes, we have focused our attention on a major
transformation resulting from the evolution of Mexican society, consisting of a
change of understanding of the "essential procedural formalities" to which The
constitutional article 14 is contracted. The law had previously established these
formalities, and now the legal norm is only an instrument to ensure due process of
law in favor of all persons, with the primary objective of facing the litigation in a
condition of equality against its counterpart.
