Abstract

Photojournalism is the way the press presents the news through images. Venezuela is going through a political conflict with social implications. The Vatican has been a key factor in the process, being a reference voice on the international scene. The article analyzes the journalistic image of the Venezuelan crisis in L’Osservatore Romano, 2018. The study is a contribution to previous research. The sample consisted of 81 photos and the results show an editorial emphasis from a humanitarian perspective.
