Abstract
A biocompatible hybrid 2D nanomaterial based on graphene oxide and superparamagnetic Fe 3O 4 is demonstrated as a multimodality contrast enhancement agent for cellular imaging using photoluminescence and magnetic resonance imaging. This provides the possibility to use graphene oxide based multimodality and/or multitasking agents for biomedical applications.
