Abstract
According to Blanco, Medina and Pacheco (2010, p. 31) growth and nutritional status in school-age children is an important component for the state of health and well-being society of the population”. This statement is in agreement with the assumption that nutritional deficiencies revealed during childhood, will be shown as affectations in the health of people when they are adults.
