Abstract

The opening up and liberalisation of economies
at the end of the 1980s has made it possible to
that companies, agencies and newcomers
social actors to participate in the dynamics of
globalisation through internationalisation
of its activities and operations. In
Mexico, attention has recently been paid to the
in international liaison activities
not only from companies, but from states and
municipalities as an internationalization strategy
from the regional or local approach.
In this sense, internationalization is
defines as the set of activities that
process of communication, exchange of information, and
and liaison with governments, institutions,
groups and organizations in other countries.
Therefore, the aim of this essay is to
to analyze several variables such as: agreements of
cooperation, foreign direct investment, trade
migration and international events,
among others involved in the process
of internationalization of the State of Tamaulipas,
Mexico Based on this, the following is presented
series of policy advocacy proposals
of internationalization in order to meet the challenges of
the goals for Tamaulipas 2025.
