The urban image is the sum of impressions and perceptions that a person or group has of the city, this representation arises in a dynamic and changing branddevelopment and evolution of the city, called the urban environment. The present work focuses on determining the influence of environment in shaping the image ofthe city of Maracaibo from the perspective of the oldest historic center. The importance of this research, descriptive and applied, lies in the contributions made the study of the urban image of the community development, as effective management, enhance the city¿s most characteristic traits.
