Abstract

IMPLEMENTED ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

location: Forlì
design: 2008
completed: 2010
land area: 432 sqm
floor area: 295 sqm
AUS Pasini Ranieri / collaborators: Sara Vespignani, Chiara Canali, Alice D’Andrea

Few steps away from House D, House P is extended starting from an identical existing building and in accordance with prescriptive ground figures in the planning codes. The design is a variation on the theme bourgeois vs. anti-bourgeois: the pseudo-rural front is attributed features of a fully urban status, gained with the post-war enlargement of the town, while the rear is divested of any conventional features unveiling naked residential functions.
