Abstract
This paper presents a study of the introduction of digital design and digital manufacturing into the first steps of design education. The work is developed through the relationship between advanced thinking and advanced making. This concept was applied in an undergraduate studio where the generation of form and its materialization were applied in the design and manufacture of a family of full-scale pavilions.
