Approaches to autism from the perspective of psychoanalysis: a systematic review

his work proposes to carry out a syste-matic review on the main psychoanalytic approaches to autism, considering the theoretical conceptions, the diagnostic criteria and the proposed treatment modalities. Following the criteria established by the PRISMA Declaration, the systema-tic review was carried out in April 2021, selecting twenty-six scientific arti-cles from six databases. It is concluded that althou-gh in psychoanalysis there are points of disagreement with respect to autism, at the same time there is a consensus regarding fundamental aspects, both from a theoretical and clinical point of view.
