Ethics of fraternity in digital environments, necessary practice

Social conflicts represent a threat to civil coexistence, especially when they are understood from a conflicting dialectic that divides, segregates, and polarizes, which makes it impossible any advance in social development. Communication on social networks is influenced by the conflictive panorama and requires, from an ethical point of view, to neutralize hate speech, through reciprocal recognition between the members of the so-called network society. Hence, the relevance of raising the question: What ethical criteria emerge from fraternity towards social networks? How can these be sustainable habits that guarantee a healthy coexistence? The conclusions allow us to glimpse lines of action to make fraternitas in rete a necessary axiom of digital communication.
