Project description
The purpose of this project is to generate public policy recommendations on the measures to be taken by the Latin American and the Caribbean countries to promote their opportunities for economic growth and decent work (SDG 8) in post-COVID 19 landscape with a perspective of resilience and adaptation to the climate change risks (SDG 13). This research will use a systematic literature review as starting point to identify strategies implemented globally in the past to re-build social, environmental, and economic balance after crisis. We will conduct workshops with key stakeholders (companies, governments, academia, and NGOs) in 7 different countries (Bolivia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Jamaica, Chile and Colombia) to develop future- oriented scenarios as a methodology that is useful for policy making from a sustainability framework.
