Project description
The aim of this project is to identify the dynamics of exclusion-inclusion of migrants present in the city of Tapachula in order to generate a comprehensive diagnosis that will serve as an input-base for the future design of an action plan for the promotion and protection of the human rights of people in a situation of mobility in all its diversity.
Specific objectives:
- To identify the scope, achievements and challenges with respect to human rights standards for people in a situation of mobility, through the analysis of plans, projects and programs of local, (trans)national and international organized civil society actors, as well as public policies at the three levels of government of the Mexican State.
- Describe from a sociological, historical and legal perspective the attitudes, practices and behaviors of the majority population in Tapachula towards people in a situation of human mobility.
- Recognition of the facilitating factors and obstacles for the exchange of information, implementation of common operations, and inter-institutional collaboration to guarantee the full exercise of the rights of people in a situation of mobility.
