
Raúl Fernando Rodríguez Tabitas
Raúl Fernando Rodríguez Tabitas holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban Affairs from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, awarded with Cum Laude distinction. He also holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
Since 2000, he has served as an adjunct professor at the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM), in the state of Nuevo León. He is an active member of the university’s research faculty, with academic interests focused on mobility, residential satisfaction, and territorial planning.
In 2025, he was recognized as a CONAHCyT Candidate for the National System of Researchers (SNI). He regularly participates in academic conferences to present and disseminate his research and contributes scholarly articles to peer-reviewed international journals.
His teaching focuses on sustainable systems with a social impact, incorporating tools for resource optimization. He applies modern, competency-based pedagogical models with a global and human-centered approach, within multicultural learning environments. He has also participated in academic collaborations with universities across Latin America through the COIL model (Collaborative Online International Learning).
Dr. Rodríguez is a member of the College of Architects in Monterrey and has contributed to multiple architectural and urban development projects throughout Mexico. Since 1997, he has led his own firm, Arquitectura + Diseño Monterrey, which specializes in residential housing and commercial projects, from the design phase through to execution.
