SYNTHESIS OF FUNCTIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR OXIDES

Synthesis of materials via Sol-gel, reactive sputtering RF and DC, as well as PVD. Study of the chromogenic properties of different semiconductor oxides aside from the study of photocatalytic properties, focused on the generation of sustainable environments and renewable energies.

MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION

Mainly in photo-electron spectroscopy emitted by X-ray (XPS), UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS). As a complement to these characterizations: photo-acoustic, Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS).
