Membership of network
The Henri Capitant Association was founded in 1935 by Henri Capitant. It brings together jurists from all backgrounds who have received and appreciated French legal culture and, more generally, Romanist legal culture. The purpose of the Association is to work worldwide for the promotion, dissemination, and modernization of civil law traditions: it constitutes the first international network of civil law tradition.
