Abstract

Customer service is an important element in organizations, since it is seen as a differentiator to achieve permanence in the market. This article aims to show the importance of teamwork (TE) and problem-solving (RP) skills in improving customer service in sales associates. For this, a questionnaire was designed and applied to the managers or coordinators of the sales area of the automotive agencies. The application and collection of the data were during the time of COVID-19. The data were processed in SPSS Statistics, using the multiple linear regression statistical model. The importance of the study showed that teamwork is not a driver of customer service, whereas problem solving is. The importance of the study lies in the design of the instrument. As well as the analysis of the variables, the relationship between them and the sector in which the research is carried out, that is, car dealerships.
