Abstract
Social dynamics have turned universities into organizations that facilitate knowledge, share, and transmit democratic values of solidarity and fraternity. This research project, of an explanatory and descriptive type, is oriented to publicize the experience of the free chair Church and Media, of the Cecilio Acosta Catholic University, through the Infoética project, designed with the
with the purpose of disseminating in the journalistic world the teachings of the ecclesial magisterium on the social inuence that the
media through the use of social networks. This work is based on the postulates
Ratzinger (2004) and Fernández (2010) theorists; and just like
in the ecclesial magisterium of Popes John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francisco. For this, the activities of the infoethics program are described, as well as the participation of students in the production of their contents, in which the ethical value of communications is highlighted, as elements to promote dialogue, the culture of encounter, and solidarity brotherhood.
