Abstract
Presumed ocular histoplasmosis (POHS) is an inflammatory syndrome that has been associated with systemic infection by Histoplasma capsulatum. It is restricted mainly to endemic countries is mainly seen in the midwest of the United States and were Histoplasma capsulatum its endemic, although similar cases have been reported from countries that are nonendemic zones for Histoplasma capsulatum.
