Abstract

This article presents a study of topics and concepts related to the product value chain (PVC) with a focus on packaging and its relevance in circular economy models. This exploratory research generates a preamble of existing concepts and methodologies for the development of products with a life cycle approach, comparing systemic methodologies in relation to packaging-product development and circular strategies of packaging.
