Abstract

The theoretical study of the communication audit as a variable
Scientific research aims to respond to one of the most important demands of the business sector: the efficient management and control of
communication processes with different external audiences and
internal, in order to offer timely responses to the
social demands in the development of its activity. That is how
the documentary synthesis on this variable allows describing the
theoretical dimensions on the strengths and weaknesses of the
information flow in the diversity and heterogeneity of the
publics that make up an organization. This research is
of an analytical type, according to the conception of Hurtado (2000), with a
analytical-documentary design to which the compilation corresponds
and analysis of bibliographic sources. In this sense, for
the theoretical foundation of that, the contributions were used
made by Varona (2005), Martínez (2007) Cervara Fontini
(2008) Rodríguez et al (2007) and Kotler and Armstrong (2014), for
thus build a documentary synthesis on the study variable;
Similarly, to establish the criteria that should be
be considered for the development of communication policies
strategic.
