Abstract
The commitment to dialogue and its practical application represent one of today’s greatest challenges in the face of the complexity of human coexistence. Dialogue enables praxis in social engagement and deserves focused study as a means to better understand reality itself. As theologian Simone Morandini notes, it is "a practice rooted in a fundamental experience of our personal being in the world, of our being and becoming human within a context of relationality."
Dialogue is not merely a method but a concrete practice expressed through action, and thus, embedded in culture. Pope Francis proposes a vision of human coexistence shaped by fraternity through and from dialogue, as a contribution to ethical and social life. From the perspective of social ethics, dialogue makes it possible to offer a credible witness to the shared values of the human family, promoting understanding that transcends discrimination and affirms human dignity as the foundation of social reality.
