Abstract

The beginning of any managerial decision must be based on an exhaustive analysis of the situational context of the planning effort that wishes to be measured and evaluated in organizations, hence the relevance of developing an assessment of the different internal and external forces involved with the education process through Undergraduate distance from private universities in the Maracaibo municipality, in order to adjust the learning processes according to the communication and interactive parameters that occur in it; Said assessment of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats was focused on the theoretical contributions of the authors García (2005), Rojas (2008), Kotler (2009), Sulser (2004), Sainz (2008) and Robbins (2009); The research carried out was of an applied evaluative type and involved two populations correlated with distance studies, those responsible for communication policies in higher education instances and the recipients of the communication effort, that is, students and users of the electronic platform. The results showed high levels of incidence of ICTs in the e-learning learning process, where common participation spaces are necessary where interactivity plays a fundamental role, in the delimitation of communication mechanisms.
