Abstract

Aim of this work is to show results of the analysis of the amount of oxides present in the weld zone when varying the travel speed and additional shielding gas supply on the weld deposits made through the GMAW processing of low carbon steel. Results show that the area covered by the inclusions is affected by the variation of the travel speed, as well as that of the additional shielding gas employed.
