NextGen Data, Visualization & Decisioning Research Center

As a consulting professor with a PhD in Computer Science from Japan, I have a strong interest in developing applied research projects in collaboration with industry, prestigious universities, and international research laboratories. My goal is to publish research articles in high-impact journals (Q1 and Q2) and lead projects together with international organizations and institutions. I am committed to involving top students from the University of Monterrey (UDEM) in international internships to participate in these collaborative projects.

I have participated in various projects related to software development, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, Data Science, logistics, data visualization, natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, data mining, cryptography, smart contracts, DevOps, psychology, neuroscience, agile methodologies, clinical neurology, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, genetics, data science, and health administration and management. I am the founder of the UDEM Interactive & Disruptive Big Data Visualization Lab.

Currently, I am working on big data visualization, cloud computing, , data science and machine learning software development projects, as well as IoT and logistics, particularly for supply chain management (SCM) purposes. I have experience in product and project management for mobile applications in multicultural environments.

My skills focus on applied research, enterprise analysis, data extraction and preparation, machine learning, time series forecasting, simulation, cluster analysis, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and software development and visualization for enterprises.

I enjoy tackling new challenges and continuously acquiring new knowledge. I am adept at finding and implementing innovative solutions that help organizations improve their daily operations. Although each organization is different, my extensive experience enables me to apply and transfer best practices wherever necessary. I have experience using Big Data techniques, including machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and predictive analytics. I am a skilled programmer in languages such as C, C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, SAS, SQL, R, and Python. As part of my academic activities, I teach Hadoop, Spark, IBM Watson, Google Cloud Platform, and other cloud computing and data analysis platforms.
