Research interests

Dr. Raúl Fernando Rodríguez Tabitas has a doctorate in Architecture and Urban Affairs from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León with a Cum Laude distinction, a master's degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Civil Engineering and has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has been an adjunct professor at the School of Architecture and Habitat Sciences since 2000 at the University of Monterrey in the state of Nuevo León. He is part of the faculty of researchers at said university, his areas of interest are Mobility, Residential Satisfaction and Territorial Planning. The courses they teach are oriented towards sustainable systems with a sense of social impact, including resource optimization tools, and integrate updated pedagogical models based on a Competency model with a global trend where teaching focuses on the human being in a multicultural format. He has carried out academic collaborations with universities in Latin America through the COIL model. He is a member of the College of Architects in the city of Monterrey and has participated in different architectural and urban projects within the Mexican Republic.
