I am a Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). I have a PhD in Information Design and Visualization from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco, where I received an honorable mention for the quality of my doctoral research work. I have a master's degree in Information Design and a specialty in Editorial Production from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, with Cum Laude granted. My degree was in Advertising Design and Production from the Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla, where I graduated for the advertising campaign "¿Traes cambio?, mejor dales un cambio" that I developed for the Sistema Estatal DIF from Estado de Puebla . I also have a minor at the University of Michigan in User Experience Research and Design.

One of the things that I am most passionate about is teaching, which is why I have been a professor at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla in the Department of Information Design where I taught the courses "Configuration of the visual message" and "Infographics and data visualization " for the degrees of Information Design, Communication and media production and Communication and public relations. Also, I was a professor for the Department of Architecture of the same university, where I taught the course "Analysis and Visualization", which was focused on students of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Digital Animation, and Information Design.

I am currently a full-time professor at the University of Monterrey for the School of Art and Design, for the Graphic Design program, hosted at the CRGS Roberto Garza Sada Center of Art, Architecture and Design, where I have the opportunity to share my knowledge but also to learn from the new generations of graphic designers devoted to the transformation of our society.

I am an external invited professor at the Universidad de Guadalajara for the postgraduate course in Information Design and Digital Communication, where I teach the courses "Evaluation of User-Centered Design" and "Data Systematization and Visualization", in addition to being thesis director and co-director at master's level. I am also a member of the academic board for said graduate program.

I am a recurring guest in the course "Urban and Landscape Design Synthesis Workshop" of the Urban and Landscape Design degree, which belongs to the Facultad del Hábitat de la Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potos.

I was a business mentor at the HUB ENACTUS Tec Milenio Puebla and has been a judge at entrepreneurship events at Tec de Monterrey Campus Puebla and Tec Milenio Puebla.

I actively participate in the activity of scientific research in individual projects as well as between university research networks made up of the Universidad de Guadalajara, Universidad Panamericana and the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco.

I have developed several research projects in design user centered and about usability; inside them highlights issues of social impact, public health, and visualization of information. I have carried out national research stays such as at the Ergonomics Research Center of the University of Guadalajara, developing usability and user-centered design projects. I have published scientific articles in international and national journals, as well as presented papers at a national and international level.

I am editorial designer for the Journal “Studies in Gothic Fiction” for Cardiff University Press, which is housed at Cardiff University.
