Description
The Iñigo de Loyola Initiative (IIL) emerged to respond to a need in a specific local context in the Basque Country, Spain, but open from the beginning to collaboration and globality. With this breadth of vision, IIL has evolved into a project that brings together 17 American and Spanish universities for the development of research activity. The IIL has two main objectives:
- Develop a common understanding of competitiveness, not as an end in itself, but as a means of achieving sustainable economic and social development. - To promote transformative research, that is, research that seeks to change competitiveness in practice, in all the territories that host universities entrusted to the Society of Jesus.
