Description
The architecture workshop is the right place for learning and experimenting with form as a generator of space, where through various exercises, students study and analyze the concept of habitable space; The present work is based on explaining the experiences of the design project of a formal unit with architectural feasibility, under the approach of meanings of the Composition and Design course at the University of Monterrey. For this, it was sought to indicate the aspects applied for the development of the project; identify the concepts used, as generating meanings of the form and the architectural space, as well as systematize the experiences of the development of the project in the course. Of an explanatory type, the work was developed with a transectional design and a qualitative applied approach, categorized by means of an observation guide related to the course evaluation rubric. The workshop sought to create a formal spatial unit, taking into consideration three fundamental aspects: the meaning of the forms; the progressiveness of the scale in the different phases of design; and experimentation with the defining architectural elements of the space, through the ephemeral approach.| Period | 15 Mar 2023 |
